Dancing In Pushkar
When out one afternoon, filming by the ghats in Pushkar, India, I was approached by Israeli dancer, Morni Gertner, who asked if I'd be interested in spending some time with her and Hermant Devara, her choreographer and dance partner, to shoot a performance they'd crafted to the much-loved Bollywood song 'Albela Sajan Ayo Re' by Bajiro Mastani...
...this is the result; a quick-fire collection of impromptu images, shot entirely during a 2 hour period of light-hearted improvisation, as the sun set over Pushkar.
Released in 2011, Ground Control came to define a years worth of achievement from the blading community. Featuring a strong roster of talent from the team, this film documents the story of the frames beneath the feet of each of GC rider.
